Ready batter mix for deep fried bananas or Kloay Kaak.
Also suitable for pumpkin, sweet potato etc.
A good way to end your spicy Thai dinner – serve it with vanilla ice cream.
Kloay Kaak recipe:
Dissolve the contents of the packet with 70-80 ml cold water.
Prepare 4 under-ripe bananas – slice a banana into 4 pieces lengthwise.
Heat 120ml of vegetable oil in a deep frying pan, bring to a medium heat (175 C)
Coat the sliced banana pieces in the batter thoroughly. Place into the hot oil.
Fry until golden brown on both sides.
Rest the fried bananas on kitchen tissue to absorb excess oil.
Serve while hot.
Ingredients: flour (rice, WHEAT, corn), sugar, shredded coconut, SESAME, PEANUT, salt, raising agent: E450, E500.
Once opened use immediately.
