Black Urid whole
Also known as vigna mung bean, matt bean, Indian garden bean.
A plant of Asian origin whose beans are very common especially on the Indian kitchen table. Prepared similarly to other beans. The main dishes are curries, stews, casseroles.
Preparation:
Sort out the spoiled beans, wash 3-4 times in clean water, place in a pot with water and boil for 15 min.
Simmer for 1 ¼ hours or until the beans are tender. Make sure there is enough water in the pot.
