Wakame is a salty-sweet tasting seaweed what is widely used in japanese and asian cooking. It is used in soups, salads (miso soup).
Grinded wakame is sometimes used as a salt substitute.
Use in miso soup: soak in water until wakame has softened, add 1 tbls of wakame to one cup of soup.
Use in salads: roast wakame, crush and sprinkle on salad.
Not to use over 4g of wakame in a day because of high iodine content.
