Riceberry, Thai Red Rice, Rice Berry, Purple rice.
Riceberry is a cross-breed between different varieties (incl. jasmine, gluten free purple) from Thailand.
The Riceberry has better nutritional properties, anthocyanin stability, physical & cooking properties and a palatable after taste.
Ingredients: Riceberry rice.
Cooking instructions:
1. Put 1 cup of Riceberry rice in the rice cooker.
2. Add 1,5 cups of water. Turn the power on and wait until the rice is coocked.
3. When the rice is cooked, let the rice rest for 10 min without opening the rice cooker.
4. Serve.
For a softer rice, put more water and let the rice rest for a longer time. To cook large amount of rice, increase the rice quantity and water proportionally, but use a little bit less of water.
