Mac PROFFESSIONAL series knives are made of 2-2,5mm thick original molybdenum steel.
These knives fallow the traditional European shapes, where the handle is straight (on the same line as the back of the blade) and the balde has a sharp tip.
The weight is perfectly balanced between the blade and the handle.
Due to its light weight these knives can be quickly used for all kinds of dishes.
MBK-85 knife is modeled after the standard French chef’s knife which has a slightly curved edge and a fast taper towards the tip (compared to a Japanese chef’s knife which has a more gradual taper from the heel to the tip).
This is an 215mm version which is fairly standard for most home cooks and professional chefs.
A multipurpose knife for just about anything you would cut on a cutting board.
The sharpness of the Mac knives on the Rockwell scale ranges from 57 to 61.
It is not recommended to wash in a dishwasher!
