The Lemon Drop Chili origins from South America and is very popular due to its intense citrus flavour. It is also known as ají limo or hot lemon, and its chili peppers are elongated, thin-walled, and ripen to a luminescent yellow. Correspondingly, the chili powder has also a bright yellow colour.
In South America the Lemon Drop chili powder is traditionally used to season salsas and sauces as well as grilled guinea pig (cuy). Due to its lemon taste it is also ideal for fish, chicken and white meat.
