Description
The sausage has a fine texture and a hearty flavour of sautéed, smoked bacon, seasoned with onions, marjoram and Habanero chillies. It is made from high-quality, regional ingredients, like bacon, rind, fresh pork blood and finely ground spices. On the tongue it is tender, flavourful and spicy hot.
Blood sausage is no longer only traditional home cooking, but has even conquered the gourmet kitchens. Even top chefs are creating new dishes with black pudding. Traditionally, it goes particularly well with mash potatoes and apples or sauerkraut.

It is also known as black pudding in England or “red sausage” in other areas of Germany. Blood sausage is one of the oldest known varieties of sausage in Germany.
