Black chickpeas or Yellow Gram or Kala Chana are mostly used in Indian cuisine.
They are added to curry, salads etc.
Wash thoroughly with cold water 3-4 times, sort out darkened peas. Leave to soak for ca 30 minutes. Bring to a boil with fresh water and cook for about 10 minutes, reduce the heat and stew ca 1,5 hours or until tender.
