Description
Aji Charapita Chili Flakes 50g
The Charapita Chili (or Aji Charapita) comes from the border area of Peru to Brazil and is often considered as most expensive Chili of the world.
Because of its rarity it is sometimes also called caviar chili.
It is small, yellow and rather inconspicuous, but it has a fiery heat of 50,000 – 100,000 Scoville and an incomparable fine taste: fruity, floral and exotic.
In Peru the chillies are also eaten fresh and used as a seasoning for sauces and salsas, to which it gives a fruity flavour. In most cases, however, it is used as a powder and gives stews, stews and sauces their typical taste.
