Application: Hardening of fruits and vegetables (pumpkin and tomato type) before confit.
How to use: Dilute half a tablespoon of Cal Mureta powder per liter of water and let the fruit or vegetables soak for 12 hours. Rinse very well with plenty of water before confit.
Application: Nixtamalization of corn (maize).
How to use: Boil 1 kg of corn in 4l of water and 2 tablespoons of Cal Mureta powder for 20 minutes. Rest 12h. Rinse well with plenty of water before using.
Ingredients: Calcium hydroxide (E526) and calcium oxide (E529).
Recommended dosage: 5-10g / liter.
When using please wear gloves, protective clothing, goggles and protective mask. Keep out of reach of children.
Corrosive: product may attack or destroy metals and cause irreversivle damage to skin, eyes or other tissue in case of contact or impact.
Skin irritation: exlamation mark is waring on side effects of the product in high doses. Some of these side effects are eye, skin an throat irritation, as well as skin allergies, sleepiness or dizziness.
