Preparation: sort out the darkened beans.
Wash the beans 3-4 times. Put the beans in a pot and soak for 3-4 hours.
Pour off the soaking water and cover the beans with clean water. Boil the beans for 15 minutes and then simmer for approx. 1 ½ hours until the beans are soft.
Make sure there is enough water in the pot.
The beans are ready to eat or add to other dishes.
